Crystalwake

Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

This policy covers the game Crystalwake for Android, made by Phillip-Juan van der Berg ("we"), who is responsible for any personal information described here.

The game collects nothing

Crystalwake is played offline and on your own device. It has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no in-game purchases. The game does not collect, store on any server or share any personal information, and it sends nothing over the internet.

Your progress is saved only on your device. If Android's own backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may copy that save to your Google account so it follows you to a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy; we cannot see it.

Google Play may collect crash and performance reports about apps from devices whose owners allow it, as described in Google's privacy policy. These reach us only as totals and summaries, without your name or contact details.

If you email us

If you write to support@crystalwake.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message. We use it only to answer you and to fix what you report. We never sell it or share it with anyone else.

Our mail is hosted by Proton AG, whose servers are in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. By sending a message you agree to it being kept there. We delete a conversation 12 months after it ends, or sooner if you ask; deleted mail may remain in Proton's encrypted backups for up to 30 days.

This website

This site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security, as described in GitHub's privacy statement. The site itself uses no cookies and no tracking.

Children

The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to support@crystalwake.com. If you are in South Africa and are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Information Regulator.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
